Back closure : Adjustable
close in the back of the bra that usually has two rows of hook
and eye closures, and three adjustments. Full figure sizes and
strapless bras may have three hook and eye closures, as well as
three adjustments.

Bustier : One piece support
garment which usually has detachable straps, or may come
strapless. Length may vary from hitting just below the rib cage
to hitting at the waist or hips. Shaping is provided by flexible
boning, from bust to waist, and is often trimmed in lace or
other fashionable trim.

Contour bra : Rounded bra
padded with fiberfill or foam that is meant to smooth the shape
and prevent show through. It does not add size to the shape,
unless noted. Normally cotton lined.

Convertible bra : A bra that has "convertible" straps that
may be detached and worn conventionally, criss-crossed in back
to form an "X" and halter style. Some may have
straps that are completely removable to create a strapless
bra.

Demi bra : Bra style that is
low-cut through the neckline, and creates a dramatic look which
enhances cleavage, especially if the cups are fully padded.

Push up : The inside cup of bra is made of padding to create a
fuller look and enhance the cleavage.

Front close : A bra that closes in the front, either with a
plastic barrel closure, or hook closure.

|
Full busted : Bras designed to support sizes 32-42 C,D,DD.
Constructed to offer more support to larger sizes through
material, and wider straps.

Seamless bra : Bra that does not have seam stitching on the cups,
creating a smooth appearance.

Strapless bra : Bra with removable, or no straps worn under
sleeveless/strapless tops and dresses.

Thong : Panty that is high cut on the leg
and has a ½" to 1" strip of material in
back. Eliminates panty lines for a smooth appearance.

G-string :
No back coverage, eliminates panty lines.

String bikini :
Bikini that is high cut on the leg,
with thin string sides, and provides full back
coverage.

Bikini :
Smaller panty whose waistband rests
below the navel, and on the hips. Usually is high cut on the
leg and the side material may vary from a string side to a
thicker side. Back coverage depends on the style of
bikini.

Boy-leg-Brief :
Longer brief panty in which leg hits
at the top of the thigh, waist sits on the hips, and back
provides full coverage. Usually seamed in front and back.
Gives a smooth line form waist to hip.

Control panty :
Panty that provides support and
flattens the tummy for smooth lines. Provides full back
coverage.

Panty :
Panty whose waistband rests at, or
just below the navel, and provides full back coverage. May be
high-cut on the leg, depending on the style.

Panty that is high-cut on the leg and
sides, but offers full coverage in back.
